Shockingly, I have not read the first three books in this series! I went into this unaware of how weird it can get, but I loved it!

If This Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe was weird, funny and, at times, downright disgusting; in the words of John, it was "da filthy"!

Now all left to do is read the first three books in the series, and I hope the first three books are just as weird and fun as If This Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe is.

I think the is the most confusing one yet, but don't let that stop you. As always, jdate baffles and amuses. Some genuine reflection towards the end on what the world is, and that not all meaningful experiences are true, or vice versa. Adventure packed, with at least 3 (three) jokes about Satan's erection. Amy shines, as do some of our new characters.

It's just as good, just as horrifying, and just as stupid as the rest of the series. Enjoy! And remember, You Are Meat!

I think this book might be my favorite one out of the series. It's exhausting to read, they all are, but it's filled with humor and sadness and the realities of the human condition, and a little bit of things going right.

I can tell Jason Pargin just wants to make people laugh, and at the end of it all he wants to write things that bring light into the world, in his own fucked up way. His books are very unique for that- wholesome, yet terrifyingly real, covered in absurdist humor and existential dread.
