3.5 stars rounded up. An interesting premise! I had a good time reading it, though I kinda wished there was a bit more to it.

4.5 stars!
I am very late to the party on this one but I really enjoyed this! I will start by saying that you definitely have to suspend your disbelief on this - it becomes more and more improbable as you go - but if you're able to do that, it is a wild ride. I see a lot of people comparing this to Look Closer by David Ellis, and I agree that it is in the same vein when it comes to the level of complexity there is in the story. You start out by getting all these pieces that don't really feel connected, and then as you go, you start to draw the red strings between them. I did guess a few of the twists, but I think that it is mostly a hazard of having read several other thrillers. This was a great palate cleanser, though, and an overall fun read!

I actually liked this one despite the cheesiness the author can’t help but write. The stories were really engaging and had so many twists that were fun and unexpected. The final twist was a little too much for me and left a bad taste in my mouth, but not enough to not like the book as a whole.

As an avid thriller reader I have never read a book with this storyline before, it was completely unique and I loved it! The multiple POVS and relatively short chapters kept it pacy and I was gripped from the beginning. This is my third book by this author and he is quickly becoming one of my favourites, I find his writing really clever, how he manages to weave everything together and deliver twist after twist. The characters were really well developed and as a reader you are made to feel such complex emotions towards them. I loved the amount of murder in this too! I have seen comparisons to 'The kind worth killing' which I can understand and I loved that one too. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who reads loads of thrillers likes myself and craves something unique to blow them away!
