I did not read the introduction by Avita Ronell because she has sexual assault allegations (by a man, which i believe, though some people wont). I did however fully read, and then re-read the full manifesto, and I will gladly read it another ten times. You know that moment you hear something you know to be so true but have been gaslit into thinking is not true? Feminism books will give you that feeling everytime, and while this isnt so much a feminist piece, this is a part of the puzzle that adds context needed to understand how all the world's and people's problems are connected. I am glad that someone told me to read this as satire, but that still didn't quite help. Jonathan Swift, she isn't. Still, important to read to simply capture a sense of feminism than. I also am left with the feeling that the pop opera I saw about Andy Warhol did Solanas a huge injustice.

J'ai pas su le lire sérieusement, j'ai eu l'impression de lire un miroir déformant du discours qu'on a entendu pendant des siècles sur les femmes sur les hommes : explications biologiques, antifreudiennes mais qui utilisent la même symbolique. Et sur ce point c'est très fort. Mais du coup je l'ai lu comme une satyre, pas un essai.
