As I head into my year of getting married this book had some good things to think about that I think I’ll be coming back to again and again. There’s some challenging ideas, some fun games to play with your partner to help strengthen things and lots of good advice that’s thoughtful, challenging and inspiring.
It’s not what I was really looking for. But might be better than what I expected I needed.

I will forever be thankful that this book showed me just how over my marriage was.
Now reading it again four years later, my current partner and I have had fun moving through the exercises and getting to know each other on a deeper level. We also discovered that there is virtually nothing we disagree on which is kind of amazing.

I don't have kids and am not married--not even monogamous. Still, this book has a lot of useful insight. I would recommend reading a physical copy, though, as the exercises can be tedious over audio. Glad my therapist recommended it!
