This was interesting. Most of the advice seemed quite basic to me but I guess that means I'm doing something right in my relationship. This could definitely be a good reminder for a lot of married couples and could help with making some changes, for example if one can't afford couple's counseling or just wants to learn more about long term relationships/ marriage in general. The book always talked about husband and wives but I think the advice can be applied to same sex spouses and non-married couples as well. Would recommend!
Always grateful for the Gottman’s addition to the world of marriage. This book can be very insightful for couples to read together and discuss.
