The art style is incredible and still (imo) the most beautiful BL/manhwa I have ever read. Sadly I just could not get into the story and the characters.

The major theme = victim falls in love with their abuser (aka stockholm syndrome)

It could’ve been something very special but the characters were flat, the story was predictable, and SA used as a shock factor and “character development”.

Byeonduck is so good at drawing expressions and Yoon Seungho's (ML) crazy eyes were shocking the first time I saw them. YSH is a violent and insatiable deviant who has set his sight on Baek Na-kyum (MC) and BNK has not had a peaceful day since. I like the pacing of the development of their relationship though, with S1 focused on building the foundation of whatever it is they have - a master-painter relationship with potential for something deeper.

I have no doubt that what BNK feels for YSH isn't love at this point but after being burned by Jung In-ho (who's a bastard in his own way), something in him broke and it was interesting to see how his attitude towards YSH changed. While YSH, well he's a walking red flag in short and his possessiveness over BNK isn't surprising but even more surprising is how he treats BNK better than his servants. They're both kind of messed up and there seems to be something brewing underneath it all so I'm curious to know how the story will unfold in the following seasons.

Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que no me quedaba hasta las 6 y pico de la mañana leyendo una historia !!

Mis moods durante la lectura fueron algo así:

Sufrir, sufrir, sufrir, morirme de la risa con las expresiones de Seungho, detestar a In Hun, llamar a Nakyum mi cutie patootie, maldecir a Seungho por hacer sufrir a Nakyum, reírme de cómo reaccionaba Seungho cuando Nakyum lloraba o actuaba de forma emocional (odio que sea tan gracioso y sexy), odiarme por no odiar a Seungho, y seguir sufriendoooo.

La historia es ADICTIVA.
El diseño de los personajes es HERMOSO.
El dibujo es TOP.

Y la trama se está poniendo cada vez mejor SHSJSJD NO PUEDO ESPERAR A QUE SE ENAMOREN Y SE JUREN AMOR ETERNO. YES, I'M INSANE

Seungho es una bandera ROJA que puede tornarse NEGRA cuando salen los crazy eyes and he gets so UNHINGED, pero yo creo en él T_T
