I  got this recommendation from a “If you like Love Island” post and MAN did they get it wrong.

This was marketed as juicier and trashier than it actually was and I was bored. Anything that may have made the novel more salacious wasn't explained - the backgrounds of the characters or the world on the inside, even maybe a producer or viewer POV. Lilly had no depth and would have liked to hear more from the other characters. I was expecting to love this one and it really missed the mark.
