I’ve been interested in Hades’ identity since the conclusion of the Madison Kate series last year. Hades sounded so badass; someone who secretly runs the Timberwolves and was the mastermind of a massacre many years ago.
The love interests in 7th Circle are varied. What I love about the romance here is the uncertainty. I know this series will end as a reverse harem, but as of the end of 7th Circle, the HEA wasn’t certain. Our heroes:
-Lucas: the new stripper with a secret
-Cass: leader of rival gang with a hang-up about their age gap
-Zed: Hade’s best friend and second in her gang
The suspense and action is out of this world. History seems to be repeating itself and Hades thinks a ghost of her past has come back to life to haunt and hurt her.
I was enthralled. The storytelling was phenomenal with a great mixture of romance, angst, action, and wondering about the unknown. Tate James is becoming one of my favorites and I’m 100% in on this new series.

This book was delightfully twisty and I can confidently say I will be reading the rest of this series.
I loved Hayden as a main character and seeing her be an absolute badass when it came to being the only woman in a room full of men. This book ends on a juicy cliff hanger making me wish I had the other book right now - because I would be dropping everything to read it right now.
One thing is that I do think it's helpful if you've read the Madison Kate series before this. There are A LOT of characters in this book and some that are mentioned from that series. It's not super necessary, but would probably be smart since they take place in the same world.
Between the writing and the twisty turns and drool worthy characters I had a great time reading this. Thank you netgalley for the arc!

Tate james has written a masterpiece with 9th circle. This was a great way to retell the Hades and Persephone story arc. The FMC was a complete and total bad ass in this book and took no shit from anyone. She ran her own crime mafia family and was very protective of her sister Persephone. This book of course ended on a cliff hanger and I am already excited to continue the story in the next book in the series.

This book is so not my vibe. I was super excited to start it after reading the Madison Kate series but I honestly can’t stand Hades. I get she has a whole no nonsense badass gangster vibe going in but it’s not my thing. It sucks too because I was really excited to see more Cass. I can’t stand how she only cares about herself. Also, I don't vibe with the whole age gap thing. Its not even a bad age gap but they make it a thing in this book. I am an age-gap girly. I love that trope when its done well. I get an icky feeling in the books where they rave on and on about how much older/younger the couple are. And that feeling was definitely present in this book
