Love it

After reading and loving the Madison Kate, I thought I would give this series a go.

First off Hades is kick ass name, but I love the character as well. I defo recommend this book if love rh and the MK series.

I’ve tried to push myself to read it but I couldn’t it took me THREE days to read 6 and half chapters only. I didn’t like the fmc idk I felt like she was trying too hard to be the bold badass strong woman.

** spoiler alert ** 7th Circle is book one of the Hades series by Tate James. It is set in the same universe as the Madison Kate series, and it is recommended that you read this after finishing the Madison Kate series.

7th Circle follows Hades, the infamous businesswoman and leader of the Tri-state Timberwolves. We hear of Hades in the Madison Kate series, and that Hades is not to be messed with. We don’t, however, get the identity of Hades in the MK series. It was one of the biggest things I was questioning when I finished Kate. Who is Hades?

⚠️SPOILERS⚠️

I thought Hades was a man, and for a while, I was thinking it could be Cass. Hades is, in fact, a woman, and we meet her once in the bonus chapter at the end of Kate.

As a woman holding as much power as I did in a man’s world, I could never show weakness or vulnerability.

The Hades series is another reverse harem series that follows a similar vibe of the MK series but not quite.

Hades hires a new stripper for her club, 7th Circle, called Lucas. Before Lucas gets hired, they have a one-night stand, but it never remains just that. Lucas is the youngest in the group and a brand-new character to us; he wasn’t in the MK series. I fell in love with Lucas instantly. He is sweet and cute and kind and caring, but also mischievous and cheeky.

A lighthouse in the wild storm that was my life

We have Cass, who is the leader of the Reapers gang, and we met him in the MK series. I loved Cass in the MK series, and getting to know him more in this series is amazing, and he is just as grumpy, but you can tell he is a good guy.

What do you want from me, a fucking love letter?

Then we have Zed, who we also meet in the MK series, and he is Hades second in command, her right-hand man & best friend. Zed is loyal and funny, and the bond they share is amazing.

Boss, did you just check me out?

Someone is after Hades, trying to set her up and kill those around her. This book is fast paced, there is plenty of action and plenty of spice, too. This book ends on a cliffhanger, and I had to grab book 2 straight away to make sure that what it was seeming to look like wasn’t what it was.

I gave this book 5 stars, and I know I am going to be as obsessed with this series as I am with the Madison Kate series.

I’m noticing some double standards, but so far not too obvious. Don’t like Lucas’ character though.
