This stayed much closer to the original story than I anticipated. It was super fun and the characters were delightful.

I enjoyed it! Definitely a play on Pride & Prejudice, and I liked that. Did not expect the plot twists. The ending was sweet, but parts also didn't make sense to me. Overall, good read.

All Around Good

This book was on my TBR for a while, but I kept putting it off. I’m so glad that I finally read it. I loved it. There were so many good elements. Liza and her family were relatable and lovable. They had real life drama to deal with. They also found ways to be humorous. Dorsey was an amazing character with a lot of layers. I loved the chemistry between him and Liza. It was hot and intense. I enjoyed the slow burn of their courtship. The rest of the story had so much substance. It was easy to focus on that until the couple got it together. I loved the epilogue. Things worked out well. This was such an enjoyable read.
