Being a true crime enthusiast this has been on my list for years. I loved it. So interesting as I didn’t know the finer details of the Manson family cases. Really interesting read. 4.5/5

Vincent Bugliosi did an amazing job, both in his job as prosecutor and as a writer. There is so much information in this book that I had never heard nor read anything about. True crime, detectives, their processes, and how they collect and search for information, etc. are so interesting to me. SO MANY mistakes were made from the get-go by police & the detectives in this case, though. Reading about them was so frustrating and had me complaining out loud. Charles Manson was DEEPLY disturbed. Kudos to Vincent Bugliosi for putting him away.
By far one of the greatest books that I have ever read. Could not put it down!

This book took me forever to finish. I was pretty over it by time I got through the epilogue. Still good.
