Not a big fan of books I figure out early on
This book had so much promise. The concept was great but the story was too easy to figure out. It started off slow and then took off. Once I figured out what was going on it was all I could do to wait for the protagonist to figure it out too. I’m not the quickest usually to figure things out so if I did then I’m sure many other readers did as well. I would’ve loved for the book to lead us on with this train of thought then surprise us with another villain.

Started slow but really picked up speed about 100 pages in. Loved the reference to the Beekman boys and their goats.
