I thought this was so fun! The narration has a ton of quippy, clever comments that really added to the whole thing. Yes, the enemies to lovers bit isn't all that long, but it's a low stakes romance with pirates and witches, hard to be mad.

This was a chaotically fun, adventurous story and I loved that the main couple had genuine chemistry and attraction for each other from beginning to end. I tend to stray from reading stories with romance, but this was actually so enjoyable as the writing was not cringey.

Enjoyed the book! Still had a hard time following the plot like the first book - not even sure why. Regardless, it made me laugh with its witty humor and I had fun.
