At first I felt it was a bit slow, but the second half of the book is just so fun and chaotic I couldn't put it down. The pace really picked up and the romance was cute and clique in a good way, in the way I wanted it to be.

I enjoyed this book for it's setting and the general ridiculousness of the banter and the witches and pirates and all of that
I felt like the relationship in this one progressed too quickly for me but it was still adorable and I understood why it was happening in this way.
Overall I will still read the third book (and I'm very excited for it).
