“I’m going to take a heroine whom no one but myself will much like.”

Yeah that sums up my feelings nicely honestly. And look no one is more devastated by this than me. I *loved* the first one in this series and would have liked to even enjoyed the second one. Mostly I’m glad it’s done. I’m not convinced it’s worth risking the third. Ugh.

Really enjoyed the first in this series even though it is a 'romance' as it balanced the action/adventure scenes with the romantic plotline... this one did not as much, definitely more romance. It was fun and still 'delightfully bonkers' but not as much my thing as the first. Nice descriptions of the sexy stuff though, went along with the overall tone/voice of the book which is always a plus.
