Reread April 1-5 2024 5/5 stars

I don't have much to say about this book at this point (after reading it for a third time) apart from the fact that I LOVE THIS BOOK. Even knowing everything that happens, it is so so good!!!

SpoilerI love Rhys. Rhys is everything. I love Velaris. I love the Inner Circle. And I hate Tamlin.

A bit of a slow start to this one. After absolutely loving the first book, I couldn't wait to read this. It wasn't until I was almost halfway through that I started to enjoy it. I think the main reason for this is because I had to stop it twice to read other books in between. I feel that I would've enjoyed it more if I had read it in less sittings, and with less time in between.

I thought I liked Tamlin in the first book, WELL! Step aside for Rhysand!! He is hot stuff! I won't be recommending this to any young teenagers at my library, those scenes were steamy!!

Overall though, I really liked this and after that ending I'm dying to see what happens next. Luckily I don't have to wait until it's released to finish it.
