This was hard for me to rate. On one hand, it was so super cute and funny, on the other, Heather was a little annoying at times and the punishment for the crime that the fuckboy villain received was so infuriating it quite literally ruined the book for me. It was fun until the “punishment” was revealed and now I’m just so furious. I’m trying to rate the book based off of my feelings of every part not involving the villain (because after what he did why’d she invite him back to talk before he did his big villain thing??????) but I’m also just so angry. He deserved WAY worse than a slap on the wrist. Like wtf.

Honestly if you read it just read it all except skip all the parts that Chris is mentioned. He’ll ruin the entire book for you, I promise.

Absurdly cute, I couldn’t stop reading!! I don’t typically like to read romance books, but I love Mothman memes so I couldn’t resist giving this a shot.

It’s not perfect writing, there are quite a few typos that I’m kind of surprised hadn’t been caught in editing, but I didn’t mind. I had an absolute blast reading this and I love Moth so much. He’s literally the sweetest (fitting considering his preference for sugary sweet things)!
The book constantly had me roaring with laughter, and continuously surprised me with the absolutely sweet and wonderful relationship between Heather and Moth. I also found Heather’s internal monologue really funny, personally.

I am now wholeheartedly looking forward to the sequel!

I am 100% in love with mothman. This was such a charming monster romance. Moth’s poetic language was swoon worthy all the way through. Excited to continue their story.

I’m in Love with Mothman was a whimsical and fun read bringing the best of Cottagecore vibes with hilarious moments. Heather lives out the life we all wish for in recklessly abandoning your life to live in a cottage in a forest. And Moth? Moth was wonderful. Heather’s caring and compassionate nature quickly brought down his walls and let Moths true self shine.

I cannot wait to read more about these two in the next book.

The second I saw this premise I knew it was for me. Sometimes we just need a story to vibe to, and I don't need it to be super complicated.

Give me strong boi and quirky girl. Give me magical bond and blushing cheeks.

Make caveman brain go burrrrrrr.

Anyway, this was short and cute. Not a lot of depth, but not needed for these sort of stories anyway. Maybe should've been on KU? $5 for 200pages isn't the best choice .
