4.5. Intense. Rowling is still able to keep a good mystery going, with lots of potential suspects, events, angles to look at things. She tricked me again into guessing someone as the key suspect, just to rule him/her/them out in the very end. And I thought I was so smart :)

Too much Twitter conversations to my taste, hence -0.5 stars. And I wish there would be a bit more Robin+Strike banter, but I know I know. Good things come to those who wait. Still, as always - amazing character development for the both two heroes.

What a talented author.

I just love J.K. Rowling, ok? The ending for this one wasn't super strong. But the journey to get there was still great.

Review to come..

A complete world, so credit to JK, but far, far too long.

Never in my life had I ever wished for a detective mystery about the internet but I loved reading this one. I love the super dramatic slow burn strike/robin romance, I love how comfortable the series is with itself now that these characters are established so well. And the capturing of the internet was actually fantastic, it didn't feel like a goofy reproduction at all, so impressive! The left and right winging internet culture was shown so easily without that low hanging fruit kind of bias, it was actually fun to read. Felt like pretty genuine captures of both sides of the internet and made for a very engaging experience. As always very excited for the next book and can't wait to see what comes next!
