Excellent middle grade graphic novel about fitting in, trying something outside of one’s comfort zone, and the message (without being preachy or lesson-like) that everyone has challenges and obstacles in their lives. This memoir was powerful and I also really appreciated that not everything was tied up neatly in a bow.
