By the same author as [book:P.S, I Love You], as since I just watched the movie and thought it was sweet, I was looking forward to some good chicklit. This book was so FREAKING frustrating, I could hardly stand it. It went on for about A THOUSAND HOURS too long - I was actually cursing out loud to it towards the end. I was so ready for what was going to happen (OBVIOUSLY) to JUST FRIGGIN HAPPEN ALREADY!

But listening to it was a treat - it was hours and hours of an Irish accent, which gets me every time :) It's a book composed entirely of emails, letters, notes, postcards, invitations, etc. So, it was at least interesting in that way...

Mediocre.
Bad.
There is nothing in it for me. I hated every second of it. And it did really waste my time. I couldn't get past chapter 11, I think. It was torturing me to read.

(Maybe it had to do with the fact that I had a big fight with the person who recommended it

The core of this book is all about missed opportunities, worst timings, how life gets in the way, but most importantly the sensation of the weird (magical) 'silence'.

What I learned from this book is don't just wait for the perfect moment to come. You have to SEIZE every moment. Don't be afraid to take chances, cause if you let the chances slip through your hands, you'll regret it (yes, I'm referring to you Alex!!).

I loved and hated this book!!! Reading this is just so frustrating. But in the end, I'm glad that they FINALLY got together.

DNF

Probably the most infuriating and beautiful stories I have ever read.

Just as good, if not better than P.S. I Love You
