My 5 stars rating is hugely biased and I am well aware of that but the joy, laughter, empathy and happy tears that concluded the reading of it for me just now have left me no other choice. I loved reading it. Perhaps the characters' decisions were far from ideal, perhaps they were at times even unreasonably stupid and perhaps it could have taken them to find each other on the same page LESS than over four decades but I felt them so I have no other choice than to give into it at best I can.
I smiled at the last line along with their 50 year old selves. It was beautiful.
