Where to begin, this is mostly an MM romance with MF too and I think it will turn into MMF or MFM. I was hoping this was a standalone, but I was so so wrong. There were things I liked and disliked, just not really my kind of spice. It did had some intriguing things happening and I did feel a connection towards the characters.

I wasnโ€™t ready!!

This book takes you on a ride.

Tristan, my boy, needs a hug. And a friend.

He will literally fall in love with the next person who holds the door for him one second too long.

Itโ€™s only one POV as we follow Tristan. But itโ€™s so well written. We still get a fair depiction of Mark and Isolde as they kinda torture our boy.

I ship Tristan and Mark so hard! Their love scenes and dialogues have me in a chokehold.

In a way I felt it was kinda pointless to have us introduced to Isolde since Tristan is such a wimp for Mark.

But since this is a trilogy I understand that the story has to go somewhere. And the whole premise falls on a loose โ€œTristan and Isoldeโ€ retelling.

I will absolutely buy the next book!

Okay this was a fantastic spicy ride. And I mean heavy on the spice. I wish there was a tiny bit more character development, but eh, it's forgivable. (Though I thought this was a standalone and now I want to cry knowing there are going to be 2 more books! Especially because I own the special edition of the first, now I feel like I will need to finish out the series)

*Spoilers ahead*

Tristian was so fascinating. His insta love with anyone that showed him a hint of attention was endearing and annoying. The boy has no boundaries and is just willing to give whatever it takes to be loved. Which is pretty heartbreaking. Especially because Mark is kinda an ass hole. A mysterious, orgasm giving, dom of an ass hole. Mark, who apparently has some sort of dead boyfriend somewhere... maybe?? He has barely opened up to Tristian at all. Hopefully we see more of who he is in the next book.

Then half way through the book Tristian discovers Mark is engaged. Then the bait and switch happens. We spend 3 weeks with Tristian and Isolde. Watching as they fall in love with each other. Like damn. Didn't see that coming.

I can't wait to see this threesome and where things go from here.
