3.5 ⭐ lourna dee deserved to be written by a woman. this was a painful combination of all the tropes commonly used for female characters in sci-fi/fantasy stories penned by men, which was surprising and disappointing because cavan scott’s high republic books have been incredible so far.

Man, Lourna Dee is so cool. I’m glad she gets the spotlight here, but I’m not entirely sure a radio drama was the best place for this story. None of the characters around Lourna and Pan Eyta really stood out (apart from an incredible spot for Sskeer, the best Jedi since Kit Fisto), but I did enjoy watching Lourna get her groove back.

Another brilliant addition to the high republic! The audio drama highlights Lorna Dees life and how she became a tempest runner. It completely changed my opinion on the character, before listening to this I didn't really like Lorna and found her annoying, but now her character is so much more interesting.
This one was awesome. An audio special performed by a full cast. Creates a really fantastic portrait of a villain that you will almost be rooting for going forward.
