This is an audiodrama, so there's a lot of accents, music, and sound effects, and it's incredible!
Back when it came out in 2022 I couldn't understand a thing, but now I'm more used to audiobooks and listenin to English and it's amazing!!!!

I don't know if I necessarily wanted an origin story for Lourna Dee. But wow I am glad I got it. This enriches her character for future installments of this branch of the Star Wars franchise.

I loved the concept overall, Lourna Dee is such a fun character. Three stars is only because the time jumps and some of the voices were hard to differentiate on the audio drama. My rating will probably go up when I read the script.

I’m getting a little tired of books or tv shows that offer pieces of the past mixed in between the main storyline. With this being an audio drama, at times it can be difficult and jarring to change time lines or scenes without any notice or narrator. But the story of Lourna Dee is enjoyable and enlightening during this stage of the High Republic story. To learn of Lourna’s past and present is enjoyable. The voice actors and characters were great too! If you enjoy the High Republic, this is a must read.
