Devastate is the 4th book of the Deliver series.

You can read it as a standalone but personally I do think you would enjoy it most if you read the first 3 books as you will understand certain characters most.

This book is about Tate who is looking for Camila's sister Lucia who was kidnapped and apparently killed. He won't stop till he finds evidence.

I really loved Van Quiso's appearance in here, just made me like him more than I did in Vanquish.

The author really does know how to come up with something different each time which doesn't make it tedious.

I do think this book isn't as dark compared to the first 3 books, although there are certain dark scenes. I felt like this book was abit of a suspense, as it had me on edge afraid of what was going to happen next.

I definitely recommend this book to those who love forbidden romance and suspense.

5 stars!!

“You’re resilient and brave. I respect you. You’re not alone. I’m here for you.”

This book wrecked me
medium-paced

Really really enjoyed Tate and Lucia’s book! Tate is so precious and his ‘friendship’ with Van made me so happy. The last 80% dragged a lot for me but other than that I enjoyed this a lot

I have zero self-control. After reading the first three books in the Deliver series, I decided not to read any more. As addictive as the series is, there were too many elements that I was not comfortable with. Then I found the box set for books four through six and decided to continue.

I’ll be honest and say Devastate is my favourite in the series, and it made me glad I continued to see what happened next. Although each book in the series is a standalone romance, the overarching storyline requires readers to read the books in order. I think the reason I enjoyed this one so much was because there was quite a bit of growth for some of the characters, and I enjoyed seeing something slightly different with the storyline.

Although I labelled this my favourite, it wasn’t quite a full four-star rating. It was addictive, it kept me hooked, but I never quite believed the romance between the characters in the way I had hoped I would. However, as it changed my mind on the series and had me eager for more, I was happy to round my rating up.

All in all, fans of the series are sure to be hooked on this one. The series will not be for everyone, but there is no denying how addictive the series is.
