Wow! What a fast paced, mind blowing, whirlwind of a book!
The story involves an NYPD detective investigating cases of a neurological condition known as False Memory Syndrome (when a person has vivid memories of multiple versions of their life), and a scientist who is trying to find a way to preserve and allow someone to enter their most precious memories. The two storylines collide in a clusterfuck resulting in a somewhat Groundhog’s Day-like tale of insanity and time travel.
My only complaint is that it was a little too “out there” at times, but I still had a terrific time reading it!! Can’t wait for the film and tv universe!

oh wow!!!!! so this has a very similar formula to dark matter, but for some reason this one just worked so much better for me. i love the concept of the butterfly effect type of shit and even though it DOES get repetitive, that’s really the nature of what the book is exploring so i didn’t mind. stuff gets BONKERS towards the end of this book and ultimately very emotional. i will say after reading this i am officially anti science!!!!! anyone getting a science degree should be jailed immediately!!!! no scientific breakthroughs ever again!!!!!
