average book, i liked it but it was nothing special

I don’t know what I expected from this since I went in almost completely blind - but this book was the fluffiest, cutest, grumpy sunshine story. Like a Hallmark movie!

We LOVE us some character growth & I was swooning for Rowan at the end

Super cute storyline. It had me feeling all of the feels. This book made my heart throb, shattered my heart, and put it back together again. I highly recommend!

meh

Now that I've sat with this book I don't think it was as bad as I thought it was. I did read this book as an audiobook and followed along with the physical and thought that I would have loved it more if I hadn't listened to it.

I wont lie and tell you I loved the characters but I can see other people loving them. The problem is mainly me not liking quirky or really extra sunshiny characters like Zahra. The only reason she kind of got a pass was because she was funny and sort of had a relatable sense of humor.

My reading has definitely evolved over the short time that I have gotten back into reading regularly and think I would have loved this book a year ago. The book was a great quick no brainer read and was exactly what I was looking for at the time.

I did like this book don’t make me wrong. I even gave it five stars when I ready originally then after reading terms and conditions, I just can’t say that they are on the same level like terms and conditions is much better but that’s not the review I’m giving today I really do think that they had a good relationship but it had the miscommunication trope which I’m not the biggest fan of. I just feel like it’s redundant and I don’t enjoy it because there’s no need for that to be the main conflict in a book so that’s the only reason it’s three stars and I felt like at times it could be kind of boring, but I do like that Zara isn’t just this white girl who has everything in it to her and I like that Rowan is this white guy who has everything handed to him because when I read books, I don’t want it to be realistic like I want him to be a billionaire and I have to worry about money because if I worry about money, I’m not enjoying the book so three stars
