Wow! I fell in love with this story fast. Zahra’s spin and no bs attitude and Rowan’s cold demeanor were just what I needed. Their banter throughout this was hilarious and captivating.

The smut is...bad, to be frank. But the plot is fun.

In this grumpy/sunshine romance we see as billionaire Rowan spends more time with newly promoted theme park Creator Zahra to help him gain favour in the upcoming vote which would allow him to receive his inheritance of $25 billion dollars and a third of the company his grandfather created. Along the way, they begrudgingly form more of a friendship (in person and online via alter ego Scott because Rowan hates being anything other than grumpy) and the more time they spend together, they realise there is no point in holding back their attraction anymore and so they decide to give their casual relationship a go. However when Zahra gets pneumonia and ends up in hospital, it all gets a little too real for Rowan and he gets nervous and scared so he pushes her away, breaking up with Zahra and breaking her heart (along with my own) in the process. After this, Zahra rightfully refuses to accept Rowan's attempts to talk things through with her and when she ends up in the meeting determining the vote on his inheritance, he wows her with his plans to remain Director and also to make the themepark more accessible and diverse for staff and visitors. However she knows not to let him off too easy and so when he surprises her and gives her his movie worthy speech, she finally listens to him and they reconcile, leading on to marriage, children and a happy life together whilst improving the themepark at the same time.

Wow. I adored this book and, although I didn't realise how long it was, it seemed like the book flew by because I was so invested. I loved the characters and the relationship they had along with Zahra's bond with her sister and I just adored this book in it's entirety. Another win for Lauren Asher I would say.

“If I had a heart to give, it would be all yours. Free of cost.”
SHUT UPPPP!!!!
Zahra and Rowans tension and romance is soooo swoon worthy!!!

“It’s like she shits sprinkles and consumes rainbows for sustenance.”

Rowan
The dreamland CEO. Rowan is very hurt by his past (mainly his father) i love how he still fights through his trauma because he loves Zahra so much #dreamman.

“You better have a massive dick to back up that attitude or else people will be mighty disappointed.” “Care to bring out a ruler and test your theory?” “I left my magnifying glass at home, so maybe tomorrow.”

Zahra
I love her attitude so so much. Her comebacks are what i dream to think of when someone backhand compliments me. She's so powerful and so smiley even after all she went through in her previous relationship.

Pros
- TENSION
- Dimensional characters
- Actually morally wise well written characters

Cons
-Rushed ending
- No backstory on Ani whatsoever
- I feel like Lauren forgot about some characters for a while and then randomly brought them back.
- cringy descriptions of genitalia

Overall this book is one of my favs ive read in a WHILE literally read this in one sitting. The ending is rushed like the deadline was in 5 minutes. I think the pros overpower the cons sooo its def worth the read!! 4.9 stars!! (Some aspects were a bit iffy)

Super cute read!
