Delightful! The choices we make, the people we meet, it all becomes a part of who we are.

Found the characters vapid - some rich girl decides to rebel against her dad and refuse his money, then pursues a rich young man?  Who obviously likes her friend?  They just pull pranks and party....found it insipid.

A vast sea of mixed feelings. I really really liked some parts of this book and at the same time I was really really bored by other parts of it. It's weird.

A mix of Great Gatsby and Truman Capote. An interesting heroine. I love me some old New York. New York...

Maybe I'll return with more thoughts, maybe not. I feel like I already discussed it with the book club girls enough to satisfy me - definitely a fun book for the book club.
