3.5 stars. It took awhile to get in to. But I had a hard time putting the last 60% of the book down.

Excellent. This seemed right up my alley and it delivered. Loved.

I enjoyed the book, however I feel like i often had to read back to remember what I had just read. I had some trouble following the plot and I am not sure why. It was written in a somewhat confusing way. I thought Katey was a cool main character and many of the characters were interesting and well defined. It was fun to read about high society in new york in the 1930s and it really did transport you there. Wish the writing was a little more transparent.

I’m not really sure the entire point or the moral point the book was trying to make. I found it compelling enough to keep reading though. I also didn’t understand why Katey was so special
