I really enjoyed this second instalment! It was even better than the first. This had lots of tropes used well - tragic backstory, miscommunications, friends to enemies to lovers - plus the awesome ensemble cast of the first book. I liked the love interest in this one a whole lot and also loved the quirkiness of the geeky heroine.

I loved the way this book started! I little over halfway through it lost me with some of the dramatics, but overall, it was a cute read. The narration was fabulous.

The story was very cute with some serious topics thrown in. I didn't find myself invested in either lead character and didn't find the male lead to have a super likeable personality.
