I really enjoyed this second instalment! It was even better than the first. This had lots of tropes used well - tragic backstory, miscommunications, friends to enemies to lovers - plus the awesome ensemble cast of the first book. I liked the love interest in this one a whole lot and also loved the quirkiness of the geeky heroine.

I was excited to read this book since it includes the fake dating trope (my favorite!).

Unfortunately, this book fell flat for me.

The first half of this book was great. I honestly thought it was going to be a 5-star read for me, but the second half ruined it.

I laughed a lot while reading this book because Daisy had so many crazy things going on in her life.

The chemistry between Daisy and Liam was great. The moment when they reconnected was funny although pretty unrealistic.

The second half of the book was way too cheesy and over the top. Considering their ages, they acted pretty immaturely. Also, there were a lot of cliché moments and parts that felt out of place.

The amount of graphic sex that came out of nowhere was meh. Like Daisy hated Liam one moment and then in the next she was throwing herself at him.

Overall, this story was just okay and kind of disappointing.
