I really enjoyed this second instalment! It was even better than the first. This had lots of tropes used well - tragic backstory, miscommunications, friends to enemies to lovers - plus the awesome ensemble cast of the first book. I liked the love interest in this one a whole lot and also loved the quirkiness of the geeky heroine.

Similar to the Marriage Game in that it’s predictable who the MC ends up with and the spice is there but it’s a decent mix of emotional and light. A little wordy but it’s still nice to see South Asian women take the lead again in romance.
