I had a lot of fun reading this book. I loved the St. Augustine setting and descriptions of the town. The relationship between Colten and his younger sister, Kennedy, was totally spot-on. I loved that.
I also thought it was clever that the ghost animals could cause real harm to Colten and his family. That added a lot of tension and danger and kept me on the edge of my seat.
Readers who enjoyed The Darkdeep series will definitely want to add this one to their shelves!
