Its been such a long long time since I read these books.... I just remember a hazy feeling of high adventure, and being caught up in something so much bigger than me. Epic.

it is seemingly impossible to give this book, these books, this... work a rating. it's below it, somehow. sometimes it reads like an essay. sometimes fiction. not always entertaining and more often than not quite boring. but never bad. never bad. the tales of these characters and the world will leave its marks. now i've finished what i started when i was very young, finally. (someday I'll look through the appendixes as well.)

Den nynorske omsetjinga er eit storverk i seg sjølve. Eg trur ikkje eg råder alle å lese ho på nynorsk første gongen, da dialektene i dialogen kan vere vanskeleg å henge med på, men det er openbert godt gjort. Eg er no glad eg las ho.
