I mean, there really isn’t much to say, but shoot dang this book is absolutely delightful.
I started reading this book mainly because the movie was coming out. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the book.

I can see how this is a good book but it’s just not for me mostly due to the length. There are a lot of sections that feel very drawn out and take a while to get through. I also listened to the audiobook and there were many songs that the narrator actually sang that took a long time. If they were shorter diddies it would be one thing but they were too long and too many for me. When the action is happening I really liked it and I was engaged. Lots of characters to keep track and all of the different kinds of creatures.
