Loveable characters: Yes

while I didn't enjoy this story as much as I wanted to, I can definitely appreciate it for what it is. so many different interesting characters, each with their own personalities and backstories, so many epic events, this whole world so meticulously planned out, the language... 😍
I think I would have liked it better if I read it as a kind of bedtime story, a chapter a day, for example
and of course I have to mention the incredible narrator Andy Serkis who made this experience truly memorable! (definitely recommend an audiobook)
