I wouldn't lie, I expected more then a got. I've certainly enjoyed stuff in it, but overall, it was kinda weak for me. Book is suffers with slow pace and to me boring political intrigue. I love slow burn romance but this one between Crier and Ayla is really really slow. It's going to take multiple books until they get together for real but to me this was bland.
