At first I thought Maybe Someday was worth 3 stars, maybe 3.5. The story was cute but there were a lot of *wtf* moments that made me want to slap Sydney and Ridge.
Then, I listened to the soundtrack.
.

.
I kicked it up to 4 stars just for the soundtrack.

It was really good in the beginning but the end was just eh... I stopped enjoying it like 2/3 of the way through

This one hurt so bad but the ending was so sweet. I loved this one! Definitely one of my top favorite CoHo books.

How often do you come across a book with its own soundtrack? Not very often!
Colleen Hoover has left me speechless once again. Made me cry, laugh and love just at the right moments.
Magnifique!

If I’m being perfectly honest, this falls more at a 2.5. I listened to this one and sometimes I find I don’t like a book as much when I am not a fan of the narration. But it’s also very possible the book would have been just as annoying if I had read it.
The thing I found the most frustrating was that Sydney and Ridge knew early on that they had an attraction to each other. It was very clear. Ridge claimed to be completely in love with his current girlfriend, Maggie. He said he would NEVER hurt her. What do they do?? Hurt the nicest, most amazing girlfriend ever because they can’t control their impulses. Here’s an idea, never move in in the first place. I’m completely Team Maggie, by the way. So Maggie finds out and breaks up with Ridge. He throws Sydney to the back burner so he can salvage whatever he can with Maggie. Once Maggie makes it clear she is done with him THEN he decides he wants Sydney….after he kicked her out. In all of this, Sydney does the exact same thing to Maggie that was done to her. And Warren? Bro, you need to get help for your porn addiction. I hated all the characters except Maggie.

In my opinion, it would have been a good book if there wasn’t a love triangle with an already established relationship
