Girl I didn’t even finish this. It was so bad. Okay here’s the thing I thought that I could MAYBE get over the whole step sibling thing since they didn’t even meet until they were full grown adults, never grew up together, aren’t blood related in any way, and parents all dead right? Right? Well WRONG. They would NOT SHUT UP about the sibling thing. Dude we get it why are we bringing it up every five fucking seconds. This gig is tired. And honestly even with all that I still could’ve looked past it had it not been for the GROOMING. Yeah, this man basically groomed her for her whole entire life and were acting like she’s some sort of baddie? This bitch was a FREAAAK. I’m sorry like I loved her in her sisters book but my goodness the whole exhibitionism sex thing made me want to crawl out of my skin. and also why are we acting like he was a good leader or something? He killed anybody for anything and idk why she want him so bad considering he made her sisters life hell but WHATEVER. I actually really like Neva Altaj writing and her other books I’ve thoroughly enjoyed but this one was NOT IT girl. In another world I could’ve enjoyed this, but that’s just not the world I’m living in.
