The main character was a bit confusing in her emotions. One minute she was Miss Independent, the next minute she was perfectly fine with what was happening. Idk, maybe I am only confused because I kept getting interrupted. Lol. All in all, a good read.

This is a new twist concerning the Vampire lifestyle! It's always refreshing to think that after all of these decades of literature focusing on vampires and weres there are so many authors who can come up with new and interesting things to say! I really liked this book, the characters were down to earth and very likeable even though we are dealing with the paranormal. I've seen mentioned a few times that the main character is surprisingly calm when she realizes the man lying in her basement is a vampire but keep in mind it's true to her personality. It would have been a total contradiction to her character development had she reacted differently! Great job Tara, can't wait to continue in the Promise Me series!
