4.5/5 But I Think I might change it to 5 stars later.
This is my third book in a row where the protagonist finds he fiancé is cheating/cancels the wedding, yet this by far was my favorite. I actually started tearing up at the climax. I think that this plot is bonkers enough to be funny and endearing, plus it has a hot doctor.
Will be applying to be a professional bridesmaid and praying I end up becoming besties with the bride. :)

i was planning on giving this 2 stars but i'm a sucker for rom coms that are really about celebrating female friendship. so... here we are
3.5 stars, rounded up.
I found the friendship between Willa and Maisie far more interesting than Willa’s and Liams relationship.

Eh, I didn't love it or hate it. Kind of a forgettable book. More women's lit than romance.
I’m kind of irritated that I read this whole thing bc I knew it was going to be mediocre like 20 percent in and didn’t want to get more behind on my reading goal by DNFing. Willa was annoying her nieces were annoying I could not care less about Liam the only person who wasn’t super annoying was Maisie and she ended up being a little annoying
It was a really cute story, and the friendship between Maisie and Willa is heart warming!
I do feel duped though. The cover and blurb led me to believe this would be a romcom, and it's basically all com and no rom. So, that dampered the story for me a bit.

I enjoyed this cute story, and thank you very much for an advanced copy of The Wedding Ringer.
I enjoyed the overall plot and characters, and I think the main character really evolved from start to finish. I feel like Willa was a self-sabotaging person in the beginning, but knew how to take charge of her own life by the end. I can't believe this is Kerry Rea's debut novel because I thought the character development was top notch. I enjoyed Willa's comeback, if you will, and I enjoyed her journey. I also really liked the cast of characters as a whole, and I feel the friendship aspect of life was captured really well.
Overall, this was a cute, fun read that I enjoyed a lot.

More of a love story between Willa and Maisie and I'm completely fine with that.

4.5 stars = I loved it! Would re-read.
This story delivered on the comedy! I loved the fake relationship trope applied to a friendship instead of a romance, and I got a kick out of the bridesmaid for hire thing as well, something I have been seeing more and more in books. While there is a romance here (and it's well done), this feels like it's Willa and Maisie's story first and foremost. And I loved all of it. Don't miss this one! (Language)
