This book was great. I really like Rachel Abbott’s writing, and it was really difficult to tell for sure who did what in this book. I definitely recommend it

Wow! Just finished And So it Begins Stephanie King #1 (portuguese edition)by @rachelabbottwriter it was an amazing read! Great plot twist. Wasn’t waiting for most of what happened. The author managed to take us through a wonderfully set plot that really had a great twist. Must read more by this author, it was difficult to put down the book, I was always eager to know what was going to happen in

Terminada esta leitura maravilhosa! Já tenho este livro na estante há alguns meses, mas só peguei nele agora, muito bom. Uma leitura viciante com um final inesperado. Aconselho a leitura, tenho de ler os restantes da série Stephanie King.

A twisty thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. My first encounter with Rachel Abbot and I enjoyed it very much.

You know you're onto a winner when you read/listen to a Rachel Abbot book and this one had me hooked right from the start. It is such a clever story and it tied me up in knots. Nothing is as it seems and there are twists galore. I kept changing my opinion of the lead characters, Cleo, Mark & Evie throughout the book. The writing is excellent. And So It Begins is a police procedural, courtroom drama and psychological thriller all rolled into one. It would make an awesome tv series/movie.

The narration by Olivia Vinall was excellent.

Slow the first two thirds of the book. Did not guess the ending.

Well that weekend went quickly. Read in two sittings and was gripped throughout. Couple of little side stories which I couldn’t work out - maybe they’re setting the scene for later - but didn’t detract from the story. Nice little cliffhangers here and there and some major reveals in random places. Great story - loved it.
