Overall, this felt kinda like a series written on auto pilot. However, I don't know much about how the other Digital First series are supposed to feel. This was quite episodic and strangely a bit regressive, but it's meant to take place before the end of the original Super Sons series. It was just a bit weird to read that series where Damian and Jon have already built up a great, supportive friendship and partnership and then cut to this where they're still bickering in pretty much every issue.
However, it was a fun little treat, an interesting story and I enjoyed the art for most of the series.
