Well-written contemporary romance. There is some Korean terms and side characters but easily looked up. However, the MMC and FMC and most of the cast is not Korean.
The story itself is an heiress trying to save her company and an heir looking to make a marriage of convenience work.
The evil step-sister is a fun plot always. I enjoyed this read but wished that the FMC wasn't so gullible and ran roughshod f0r like 90% of the book.

made it about 10% in. too cringe. too much "telling" instead of "showing" narrative. can't see myself liking any of these characters tbh. moving on.

This is the reason why I love the Lasker brothers. This book is the example. These seven brothers have bonded to create a family regardless of who their father is or in spite of him. Now Sebastian is going to learn real quick what you see is not the whole story because Luce is going to surprise him big time. These two go into an arranged marriage with business on their minds, but the more time they spend with one another they see their true selves. There is so much to like, but can events already in motion derail them? I did not like Luce's family at all. Scum of the earth they are. Karma needed visit them all big time. One thing I didn't see coming broke my heart for Luce, but she got so much more marrying Sebastian that she could ever imagined. It's something that everything she has been through she so deserved. Luce is so much more than what tabloids and news portray her to the word. This book was so hard to put down. I loved watching Luce and Sebastian's romance grow from the ground up. I recommend this one!

It's such a cute story, it's one of my favorite books in the entire series. Rereading it, I have decided that it is a 5 stars book. I love them so much, they both learned so much and loved each other so much! I love it, I was laughing and swooning the whole story.
