Voilà le quatrième tome des aventures d'Astérix et on a encore droit à une histoire de kidnapping. Trois des quatre premières histoire sont sur l'enlèvement d'un des membres du village. À la longue, ça devient redondant. Voilà pour le négatif.

Pour le positif, je peux dire qu'il y a quelques scènes qui sont très drôles. J'ai bien aimé dans l'école des gladiateurs et quand ils sot recherchés. C'est ce côté que j'aime des aventures d'Astérix.

It's tough to be Caeser. People keep giving you presents, likea Gaul who can't sing and whose musical talents scare hungery lions.

Luckily, Asterix is here to save the day!

Very easy and fun read, it was a shock to find out that they changed the dog's name. The dog is only mentioned in the second page, but I'm so used to the French version, hearing Idéfix as Dogmatix was a surprise. Nevertheless, very slapstick based and historically inspired.
