This book had me smiling the whole time! Omg these two were adorable and I mean fake dating?! Immediately yes.
This is one of my favorite sports romance series, I want to be friends with all these characters.

A video gets out of Dahlia saying how she’d love to climb Felix like a tree and after Felix sees the video he proposes they just fake date. BUT Felix was already showing interest in her so I was screaming because I’m like he just wants an excuse to be around her and I’m here for it. And of course Dahlia was into Felix but super shy and scared to talk to him. I related to her so much with how shy she was and just wanted to stay hidden. I love this friend group so much because they all support and push each other to go out of their comfort zone

Dahlia had always been timid and shy, while Felix was the famous quarterback who had slept with half the female population at Valley University. It was their fake dating arrangement that gave them the space to build and nurture genuine feelings for each other. This was such a fun and sweet read! I especially loved that, by the end, both characters gained something meaningful—Dahlia became more confident, Felix learned to believe in himself, and together, they grew stronger in their relationship.
One key value I took away from this book is the importance of thinking before speaking—especially in public. You never know who might be recording, and your words could later be used against you.

The quote I loved most from the book is:
“If I had a boyfriend, this is exactly what I would want it to be like. I love that we can sit and talk like friends, but that neither of us can keep our hands off the other.”

I loved Scoring the Player! We have met both Dahlia and Felix in other books in this series, but now we get their story. Scoring the Player will give you all the feels with the quick banter, fake relationship drama, the chemistry, and heat between Felix and Dahlia. Felix is the all star QB for the football team and gets caught up in gossip that Dahlia says about him in a video. The two decide to help each other out and let the banter and feelings start to burn. These two take us on a wild, emotional, funny, and quite the slow burn adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat! Felix and Dahlia will pull you in and have you devouring this book!
