you ever finish a book and start crying?

i didn’t want this one to end. but also i can’t wait to read more. it’s a weird contradiction that meant i literally would close the book mid-sentence and put it down to look out the window for a minute, determined to savor every word, but pick it back up not 30 seconds later to see what happened next. read it. you’ll love it.

If I could give this book 8 billion stars I would.

I’ll never get over the Maggie Stiefvater’s magical writing- the way she creates worlds and stories feels like i’m finally experiencing new things in stories, (after feeling like I’ve read every trope). I was wary of a sequel, since more often than not, sequels can be massively disappointing. But this book BLEW my expectations out of the water. The way it expands on my favorite gays <333 UGH. they’re the cutest couple ever. I feel like this book also awnsered so many questions I previously had after finishing the raven cycle, (mostly about Ronan and his dream abilities). I also now love Declan Lynch almost as much as I love Ronan?? I never expected that to happen. I could write a whole essay on how much I love Stiefvater’s books and how I would eat the words off the pages if i could… so everyone go read the raven cycle right now, and read this series after (you won’t regret it).
