I am absolutely shocked by the feelings I had for this book. Before reading it, I would’ve told you I didn’t really like magnolia and/or bj, yet I cried through the last 4 chapters of this book. It redeemed them in my eyes, and it made me feel a way for them that I hadn’t before.

What can I say about book 5 in this series other than that, to me, it just dragged out completely unnecessarily? To say that in over 700 pages nothing REALLY happened speaks volumes. I suppose it’s nice to see Magnolia and BJs story finally come to a conclusion, and it did keep me entertained enough to keep reading, although I think that speaks more for my perseverance than anything else! If you like rich-people behaving-badly type soap dramas, then maybe this series is for you, but for me, in book form at least, it doesn’t hit the mark, so maybe just a “me” problem, considering this series is SO popular. I just don’t get the hype.
