Wildly depressing. I can't say I loved it because it inspired no warm feelings in me (except for Millie's visit home to see her parents, incongruously tender) but as with all Halle Butler I couldn't tear myself away.

DID NOT FINISH: 45%

I cannot handle the unlikeable MC right now, I feel too much like her at this point in time

How does a book with such gag-worthy imagery go down so easy? I had a great time reading this one! It is *definitely* a cautionary tale. I enjoy the fact that Butler didn't try to engineer some bigger message here, but I also kind of wish she had. It would have made this a stunning book.

I don’t know if I should be ashamed of this, but girl same.

Even as a married mother of two with a job and career I love…this was (unfortunately?) too relatable

This itched my millennial ennui quite well.

Fucking funny.
